The University of Cincinnati Engineering Library serves the
faculty and students of the College of Engineering. The
Engineering Library's collection and services are essential to
fulfilling the educational and research missions of the College
of Engineering. Its collections and electronic services support
programs offered by the College, with special emphasis on the
research interests of faculty and graduate students. The
Engineering Library also serves other University of Cincinnati
users, as well as the scientific and technical community of the
Greater Cincinnati area.
General information and policies for the use of the
Engineering Library apply to faculty, students, and staff of the
University of Cincinnati. U.C. users should be prepared to present
their current U.C. photo ID card or other photo ID card, when borrowing
materials.
Authorized users of libraries who are in the Greater
Cincinnati Library Consortium (GCLC) and in OhioLINK institutions
have borrowing privileges. Members of the U.C. Alumni
Association or Library Guild may obtain a University Libraries
borrower card free
of charge. All other persons may obtain a borrower card by
payment of a fee. Borrower cards are sold at the Circulation
Desk in Langsam Library. GCLC borrowers and cardholders should
be prepared with verification of status (i.e., GCLC library card,
student I.D. from GCLC institution, letter from GCLC library, or
U.C. borrower card) when borrowing materials.
